1person killed, 2 others Kidnapped In Bwari Area Council.
The FCT police Command has confirmed the killing of one Benjamin Ogundare and abduction of Good luck Ogundare and Janet Ogundare by armed bandits In Ushafa Community in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
In a statement signed by the FCT Police Public Relations officer Josephine Adeh said the police has deployed aggressive man hunt to track down the suspected criminals and rescue the kidnap victims.
The statement said the Control Room received a distress call that Armed Hoodlums , stormed Ushafa Village in Bwari Area Council of the Territory attacking residents of the area.
The statement stated that the information was relayed to the Bwari Divisional Police Headquarters where other Security Apparatus of the command around the area were mobilized with the Tactical and intelligence assets to the scene.
It stated that Upon sighting the officers, the hoodlums took to their heels after shooting one Benjamin Ogundare and abducted The duo of Goodluck Ogundare and Janet Ogundare.
The statement said the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by a doctor on call.
Aggressive man hunt and rescue mission has been launched to trail the hoodlums while the investigation continues .
